HIRING NOW FOR SUMMER 2025
Adventurers aged 7 to 14 years can go wild during the summer holidays with our Ofsted-registered Ultimate Survival programme. Spending time being fully immersed in the natural environment, outdoor summer day camps are fun and adventurous for both staff and children.
We are looking for candidates with heaps of enthusiasm for the outdoors and experience working with and caring for children of all ages! Don't worry, you don't need to be Bear Grylls... You bring the passion and we'll provide the training!

2025 VACANCIES:
Ultimate Survival Instructor
£108.28 - £137.87 per day (Including 12.07% Holiday Pay). As well as the additional 3 hours' pay for evening duties on Thursdays
The role of an Ultimate Survival Instructor is to use supporting resources to deliver high level (structured) outdoor activities and workshops to groups of children aged 7 to 14. You will be expected to guide groups of children through week-long (timetabled) courses with emphasis on fun, excitement, teamwork, and skill development. You will have a pastoral role in being a group leader and be a key contact for children on Camp while taking a lead in ensuring their welfare.

The role of the Ultimate Survival Camp Leader is to oversee the effective running of our Ultimate Survival courses. Along with your team of Ultimate Survival Instructors, you will deliver outstanding theatre-based, structured outdoor education activities and workshops to groups of children. If you have heaps of experience working with children in an outdoor setting and have worked in a senior or managerial role, this is the role for you!

Senior Ultimate Survival Instructor (Roaming)
£108.80 – £149 per day (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay) + 22p per mile, as well as the additional 3 hours pay for evening duties on Thursdays.
The Senior Ultimate Survival Instructor (Roaming) will not be assigned to any one site, but will instead travel from camp to camp, able to deliver a range of different activities and workshops and provide support to the Ultimate Survival staff teams when needed. As well as heaps of experience delivering a wide range of outdoor activities to children, flexibility is a must in this role, as you will be required to react quickly in an ever-changing camp environment!

Each week there’s a different theme (see below), offering variety no matter what day the children attend. Each day you will instruct inspiring survival skills, group challenges and games with the added theatre of different scenarios.
Island Expedition | 2025
Whilst voyaging across the Indian Ocean, our survivors came across an island that couldn’t be found on any of their maps. What could be ashore... a paradise island or buried treasure?

Rainforest Evacuation | 2025
Our survivors are parachuting into the Australian Rainforest after their aircraft suffers an extremely rare, DOUBLE engine failure. Luckily all escape unscathed, but for our survivors, this leap of faith is only the beginning.

CAMP COOK OUT
On select weeks and specific locations we offer children an extra dose of adventure with our Thursday Camp Cook Out option packed with survival team games, campfire dinner, toasted marshmallows and optional bug-eating challenges!

- Food provided (vegan and gluten-free)
