Training and Assessment Days

CENTRAL TRAINING & ASSESSMENT DAYS

The Ultimate Training Programme is a three part programme:

1. Online Competency Assessment:

Staff complete introductory short courses online. These are accessed as part of your onboarding process through your Candidate Portal.

2. Central Training & Assessment:

Staff attend face to face training before the join Ultimate, if they have not attended before, or if they have attended before but have not worked in the last 2 years . Read on for more information. Staff are paid to attend Central Training & Assessment events.

3. Camp Induction Day:

Staff attend a short introductory set up day at their specific camp location to get themselves and camp ready for the season ahead. This is a paid day and staff attend every season. Click HERE  for more information.

All staff must attend Central Training and Assessment before they begin work if they have not attended training specific to their role in the last 2 years.

FIRST AID TRAINING:

As part of our commitment to your professional development, Ultimate host fully subsidised, OFSTED recognised Paediatric First Aid training days, giving you the chance to gain an invaluable qualification at zero cost to you.

Courses hosted by Ultimate Activity consist of 12 hours of blended learning: 6 hours of online training in your own time, combined with 6 hours of face-to-face training with a qualified first aid trainer. Full funding details can be found in your contract. With these courses usually costing anywhere between £80 and £200, this is a fantastic opportunity to boost your CV without breaking the bank!

These courses are very popular and fill up quick! A member of the Recruitment Team will be in touch as soon as possible to confirm your spot and priority will be given to those employed as a Key First Aider on camp.

If you cannot attend our internal course dates, we will book you an alterative, EXTERNAL First Aid Training course (e.g. St. john's Ambulance) and deduct the cost of £30 from your salary. SEE TERMS & CONDITIONS BELOW.
