Ultimate Activity Camps

Activity Instructor (Sport)

£272.45 to £460 per week, plus holiday pay!

The Activity Instructor (Sport) will deliver outstanding, structured and fun sports sessions on camp, whilst maintaining child welfare and offering the highest standard of childcare. If you have experience in a variety of sports, working with children of all ages, this is the role for you!

The Activity Instructor (Play) will deliver outstanding, structured and fun sports, arts, and play activities on camp, generally working with Primary School aged children, whilst maintaining child welfare and offering the highest standard of childcare. If you have experience working with children and delivering a variety of activities, this is the role for you!

Camp Manager

£425 to £650 per week, plus holiday pay!

The Camp Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of our multi activity programmes, managing a team of staff to ensure they are delivering activities to the highest standard, whilst maintaining child welfare and offering the highest standard of childcare. Usually a qualified teacher, the Camp Manager will be the key point of contact on camp, ensuring our key stakeholders (Children, Parents, Host School, Staff, Ofsted) receive the Ultimate experience! If you have heaps of experience leading children, and have worked in a senior/managerial role, this is the role for you!

Early Years Instructor

£272.45 to £460 per week, plus holiday pay!

With support and direction from the Early Years Manager, the Early Years Instructor will have a pastoral role with the 4 and 5 year olds on camp. You will take a lead role maintaining their welfare and providing high quality childcare and activities, in line with the EYFS and Ofsted requirements. Early Years Manager

£325 to £490 per week, plus holiday pay!

With support and direction from the Camp Manager, the Early Years Manager will be responsible for delivering our Ultimate Juniors programme on camp, leading high quality activities in line with EYFS and Ofsted guidance, and supporting Early Years Instructors. A pastoral role, you will deliver outstanding childcare on camp, maintaining the welfare of the children in your care to exceptional standard. If you are qualified (minimum Level 3 or higher) and experienced in working with younger children, and have excellent working knowledge of the EYFS, this is the role for you!

Specialist Instructor (Lifeguard)

£287.50 to £450 per week, plus holiday pay!

The Specialist Instructor (Lifeguard) is responsible for maintaining pool safety. Qualified (NPLQ or NARS) and experienced, you will lifeguard from poolside during all water activities, whilst maintaining child welfare and offering the highest standard of childcare. You will also have the opportunity to deliver a range of different activities according to your skills and expertise.

Specialist Instructor (Trampoline Coach)

£350 to £500 per week, plus holiday pay!

The Trampoline Coach must have a minimum Level 2 BG qualification in trampoline coaching, and will be responsible for delivering fun, structured, and engaging trampoline sessions on camp, whilst maintaining child welfare and offering the highest standard of childcare. You will also have the opportunity to deliver a range of different activities according to your skills and expertise.

Specialist Instructor (Quad Bike Instructor)

£412.50 to £462.50 per week, plus holiday pay!

A roaming role, the Quad Bike Instructor will travel from camp to camp (with expenses paid!) delivering Quad Bike sessions to children aged 8+ whilst maintaining good working order of the bikes, whilst maintaining child welfare and offering the highest standard of childcare. With full training provided, no formal qualifications are required (other than a driving license and ability to drive a rented vehicle, provided by us!), but you will need to have heaps of experience delivering activities to large groups of children, and a great understanding of health and safety!

Senior Activity Instructor (Roamer)

£350 to £462.50 per week, plus holiday pay!

A roaming role, the Senior Activity Instructor (Roamer) will not be assigned to any one site, but will instead travel from camp to camp, delivering a range of different activities and providing support to other staff and managers, whilst maintaining child welfare and offering the highest standard of childcare. As well as heaps of experience delivering a wide range of activities to children of all ages, flexibility is a must in this role, as you will be required to react quickly in an ever-changing camp environment!

Climbing Instructor

£375 to £500 per week, plus holiday pay!

A roaming role, the Climbing Instructor will travel from camp to camp delivering engaging and structured climbing activities to children aged between 6 and 14 years, whilst maintaining child welfare and offering the highest standard of childcare. Climbing Instructor candidates will already have a CWA (Climbing Wall Award) and/or SPA (Single Pitch Award), and experience of coaching children/beginners is a must!

TEFL Instuctor

£386.25 top £430 per week, plus holiday pay! 

Delivering English Lessons for our sister company, Varsity International, the TEFL Instructor will deliver English lessons on camp to international children. Using accompanying resources and session plans, you will plan and deliver lessons to up to 12 children, whilst continuously ensuring their welfare. You will also take a lead role in supporting full integration between International and British children on camp.

Ultimate Survival Camps

Please note that all Ultimate Survival roles come with camping accommodation near or at the venue, meaning those with a passion for the outdoors can work at any of our camps.

Survival Instructor

Salary: £304.50 - £460 per week plus holiday pay and including accommodation!

The Survival Instructor will deliver outstanding, structured outdoor education activities and workshops to groups of children on our Ultimate Survival Courses. If you have experience working and leading in the outdoors, this is the role for you!

The Survival Leader is responsible for overseeing the effective running of the Ultimate Survival course, acting as a key contact for the children on camp, and managing a team of instructors. If you have experience working in the outdoors in a senior or managerial role, this is the role for you!
