Ultimate Activity Camps

Activity Instructor

£312.45 to £474.30 per week. This consists of a base pay of £278.80 to £423.25 per week plus holiday pay at 12.07%

The Activity Instructor will deliver outstanding structured sessions on camp in a mixture of sports, creative activities and games, whilst maintaining child welfare and offering the highest standard of childcare. If you have experience leading sessions and  working with children of all ages, this is the role for you!

Activity & Equipment Coordinator

£312.45 to £474.30 per week. This consists of a base pay of £278.80 to £423.25 per week plus holiday pay at 12.07%

The role of the Activity & Equipment Coordinator is to assist with the safe delivery on camp under the COVID-19 guidance set out by the government, by assisting camp staff with the set-up, cleaning and preparations of classroom areas and activity equipment so they can be used safely in the next timetabled session. The Activity & Equipment Coordinator will act as a floating staff member to assist with the movement of children around camp. However, to ensure we maintain staff:child ratios, they must be prepared to cover staff absence by stepping in to deliver a range of engaging activities when needed.

Early Years Instructor

With support and direction from the Early Years Manager, the Early Years Instructor will have a pastoral role with the 4 and 5 year olds on camp. You will take a lead role maintaining their welfare and providing high quality childcare and activities, in line with the EYFS and Ofsted requirements. If you have experience working with younger children, and catering to their specific needs, this is the role for you. Read More

Early Years Manager

£364.25 to £491 per week. This consists of a base pay of £325 to £437.50 per week plus holiday pay at 12.07%

With support and direction from the Camp Manager, the Early Years Manager will be responsible for delivering our Ultimate Juniors programme on camp, leading high quality activities in line with EYFS and Ofsted guidance, and supporting Early Years Instructors. A pastoral role, you will deliver outstanding childcare on camp, maintaining the welfare of the children in your care to exceptional standard. If you are qualified (minimum Level 3 or higher) with excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience in working with younger children, this is the role for you!

Camp Manager

£467.90 to £650 per week. This consists of a base pay of £417.50 to £580 per week plus holiday pay at 12.07%

The Camp Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of our multi activity programmes, managing a team of staff to ensure they are delivering activities to the highest standard, whilst maintaining child welfare and offering the highest standard of childcare. Usually a qualified teacher, the Camp Manager will be the key point of contact on camp, ensuring our key stakeholders (children, parents, host school, staff and Ofsted) receive the Ultimate experience! If you have heaps of experience leading children, and have worked in a senior/managerial role, this is the role for you!

Specialist Instructor (Lifeguard)

£322.20 to £500 per week, depending on hours and experience. This consists of a base pay of £287.50 to £447.05 per week plus holiday pay at 12.07%

The Specialist Instructor (Lifeguard) is responsible for maintaining pool safety. Qualified (NPLQ or NARS) and experienced, you will lifeguard from poolside during all water activities, whilst maintaining child welfare and offering the highest standard of childcare. You will also have the opportunity to deliver a range of different activities according to your skills and expertise.

Senior Activity Instructor (Roamer)

£392.25 to £501 per week, depending on hours and experience. This consists of a base pay of £350 to £447 per week plus holiday pay at 12.07%

A roaming role, the Senior Activity Instructor (Roamer) will not be assigned to any one site, but will instead travel from camp to camp, delivering a range of different activities and providing support to other staff and managers, whilst maintaining child welfare and offering the highest standard of childcare. As well as heaps of experience delivering a wide range of activities to children of all ages, flexibility is a must in this role, as you will be required to react quickly in an ever-changing camp environment!

All Ultimate Survival roles come with camping accommodation near or at the venue, meaning those with a passion for the outdoors can work at any of our camps.

Ultimate Survival Instructor

£349.20 to £474.30 per week. This consists of a base pay of £314.45 to £432.85 per week plus holiday pay at 12.07%, with additional pay for overnight duties on Thursdays.

The role of the Ultimate Survival Course Instructor is to deliver outstanding, structured outdoor education activities and workshops to groups of children, aged 7 to 14 years. If you have experience leading outdoor sessions and working with children of all ages, this is the role for you!

£445.05 to £546.35 per week. This consists of a base pay of £397.10 to £487.50 per week plus holiday pay at 12.07%, with additional pay for overnight duties on Thursdays.

The role of Survival Leader is to oversee the effective running of our Ultimate Survival courses. Along with your team of Ultimate Survival Instructors, you will deliver outstanding theatre-based, structured outdoor education activities and workshops to groups of children. If you have heaps of experience working with children in an outdoor setting and have worked in a senior or managerial role, this is the role for you!

£392.25 to £501 per week. This consists of a base pay of £350 to £447 per week plus holiday pay at 12.07%, with additional pay for overnight duties on Thursdays.
