Supporting Children’s Wellbeing

Our summer camps are now underway, and we’re looking forward to welcoming over 15,000 children this season. It’s the perfect opportunity to highlight how we support children’s mental health and wellbeing across our multi-activity camps. At Ultimate Activity Camps, children’s wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. We're committed to creating a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported and able to thrive.

As part of our ongoing national partnership with YoungMinds, a leading UK children’s mental health charity, we’ll be hosting a Wellbeing Wednesday on 5th August across all our camp locations.

Through our partnership, we support children’s mental wellbeing through fundraising initiatives such as the Ultimate Mile and free parent webinars offering practical advice from mental health experts. This commitment continues on camp, where our friendly, experienced staff build positive relationships, boost confidence through fun activities, and create an environment where every child feels safe, included and happy.

Our commitment to children’s wellbeing was recently recognised by Ofsted, who said:
“Children have fun attending this enjoyable and well-organised camp, where they feel safe and well cared for. Friendly and experienced staff are genuinely interested in chatting to the children, and children are relaxed in their company.”

Beyond camp, we continue to support families through our online Child Wellbeing Hub, providing trusted guidance on children’s health and wellbeing, online safety, safeguarding and SEND support.

Ultimately, our goal is simple: to ensure every child who joins us feels happy, confident and supported. By combining caring staff, positive experiences and a strong focus on wellbeing, we create a camp environment where children can be themselves, build friendships and make memories that last long after summer ends.
