Children will experience working together and putting teamwork into practice in an island escape scenario. Children will experience how to survive on a deserted island by constructing shelters, cooking & eating wilderness food and working out how to escape the island! Other activities include, 3 man catapults, animal skinning and trap-making! We also offer an optional overnight Camp Out - an experience not to be missed! See Camp Out details and a sample timetable below.
As well as having lots of adventurous fun, we work hard to create survival programmes which offer children the opportunity to develop a variety of skills and try new outdoor activities. In addition to learning practical bushcraft skills and meeting new friends, children may also benefit from improvements to the following:
- Appreciation of the natural environment
- Teamwork and leadership
- Communication skills
