IMPORTANT DETAILS:

  • The minimum age for parachuting is 16 years, but a parent or guardian aged 21 or over must accompany you to sign consent forms if you are under 18.
  • There is no upper age limit for tandem students and as long as you are physically fit you can self-declare your fitness to skydive using BPA form 114A. (once we have confirmed participants I’ll be sending an email with all the details and forms that need to be completed etc).
  • The maximum weight limit is 95kg (15 stone). All students will be weighed on arrival and any students over the maximum weight limit will not be permitted to jump for safety reasons.
  • Warm, comfortable clothing of a non-restricting nature should be worn and training shoes are adequate for all types of descents – no shorts, hoodies, or heels! Think leggings, joggers, and long-sleeve tops, and layers! Even in August, it will get chilly at the top!
  • Spectators are welcome as long as they adhere to the airfield rules and regulations. Children must be supervised at all times and dogs must be kept on a lead – we’ve had quite a few family and friends come and watch on the day, we will provide some basic refreshments, but there’s also a little café on site, and loos etc
  • You should expect to be at the centre for a minimum of half a day for your skydive experience. Weather conditions and other factors may affect timings on the day of your jump, so expect to be there for a few hours.
